In And Around The Homestead

Dining on site?

If you choose to dine with us...

Our spacious dining room looks over the rolling hills – a place for wonderful evening meals, sensational food, great Barossa wines and good friends.

Weather permitting, you could choose to dine under the large veranda out front, and will be happy to set a table for you.

The message is simple – make yourselves at home.

The lounge is open 24 hours a day. It’s home to large comfortable sofas, an open fire and an LCD TV (particularly good when there’s a big sporting occasion!).

This is the place to relax and socialise after a long day. Your hosts will be delighted to serve drinks.

The cellar is an especially atmospheric space and we'll be opening it during your stay, usually uncorking a bottle or two for tastings.

You're invited to inspect our extensive collection of fine wines, including vintages from the Barossa, Clare, Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale. These are available for purchase at any time.

Speak to us before arrival about arranging a winemaker dinner for you in this enchanting space. A hosted dinner with one of our local winemaker friends is a magical way to ensure that you gain a real connection with the Barossa and it's people during your time with us at Kingsford Homestead.

There are verandas to the East and South of the property, both enjoying sweeping views of lily-filled gullies and grassy knolls sure to stir the soul.

The spaces can be configured for dining, but during the day, seating is available for those who just wish to read, enjoy a glass of something or wile away the hours.

Shearing Sheds

Our historic shearing sheds lie to the west and you’re invited to explore them while wandering the property.

These evocative and atmospheric buildings are also used for functions and weddings.

Relaxing next to our new pool is the ideal spot to spend a lazy afternoon. Dive into the cool depths after a day of Barossa exploring, or stretch out on one of the loungers and read your book. Enjoy a cold drink while soaking up the Australian sunshine and the sweeping countryside views that surround you.
